Job summary

Willmott Dixon is recruiting a Proposals Manager to lead the development of high-quality bid submissions across the Construction South team. You will work with Project Managers to craft persuasive responses and oversee writing, editing and the bid process from initiation to completion.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts and designers to ensure the bid presents a compelling offer, with a focus on customer needs and sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience of facilitating answer plan sessions, win theme workshops and managing the tender review process.
• Proven experience of bid writing and bid editing, creating compelling and persuasive responses.
• Experience of using Microsoft Office.
• Use of Adobe InDesign.
• Experience working within the construction sector.
• Ideally hold DfE – Department for Education tendering experience (CF25).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of quality bid submissions with bid managers and subject matter experts.
• Assess technical bid requirements and help shape proposals.
• Ensure the formal bid process is followed and provide improvement recommendations.
• Write, review and edit drafts to persuasively convey the offer to customers.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to convey the bid visually and craft customer presentations.
