Job summary

Willmott Dixon is recruiting a Proposals Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract in the Construction South team. The role involves leading bid submissions, working with PMs and SMEs, and crafting compelling responses with InDesign and the Adobe suite.

You will manage the end-to-end bid process, drive high-quality bid writing, and coordinate with graphic designers to present clear customer offers. Flexible hybrid work from Weybridge or Southampton is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilitating answer plan sessions and win theme workshops.
• Proven bid writing and bid editing experience delivering persuasive responses.
• Excellent resource planning and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Adobe InDesign.
• Experience working in the construction sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of quality bid submissions with bid managers.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to shape proposals.
• Ensure formal bid process is followed and improvements are recommended.
• Write, review and edit drafts to persuasively convey offers.
• Coordinate with graphic designers to visually convey proposals.
• Support creation of customer presentations and creative bid ideas.
