Job summary
Apogee Corporation Ltd is seeking a remote, home-based Service Engineer to visit customer sites within a designated region, delivering professional repair and maintenance for business printers and production devices.
You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and carry out preventative maintenance while keeping customers informed and engaged about outcomes and performance. The role requires DBS and SC clearance, with periodic office attendance for meetings and training.
Qualifications
- Experience fixing production printers and digital presses.
- Strong technical background in electronics and mechanics.
- Proficient IT knowledge to network devices and configure scanning.
- Proven customer-facing experience.
Responsibilities
- Respond to service requests for printer repairs.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs or part replacements.
- Carry out preventative maintenance per manufacturer guidelines.
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve unusual faults.
- Escalate issues through the agreed process.
- Inform customers about work done and machine condition.
- Install equipment and ensure performance meets customer expectations.
