Job summary

Gearset Limited in the UK is hiring a Principal DevOps Engineer to operate and evolve our AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability and fast, safe deployments to our multi-tenant SaaS platform.

You'll collaborate across teams, fortify security, and own roadmap-driven initiatives with a modern tech stack (Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, .NET), enabling rapid feature delivery while maintaining reliability and security across regions.

Qualifications

• Have in-depth practical experience with AWS services (VPC, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, EKS).
• Experience running production Kubernetes clusters and managing multi-region deployments.
• Hands-on with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience configuring and running CI/CD pipelines for hosted SaaS.
• Experience supporting hosted, multi-tenant SaaS at scale.
• Strong feedback culture and pragmatic, iterative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and evolve Gearset's infrastructure to scale for a growing user base.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure harmony between app and infra, with safe rollout of changes.
• Lead security initiatives to protect customer data.
• Contribute to a collaborative, self-directed team with roadmap autonomy.
