Job summary

Gearset Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to join a product-driven engineering team. You will build and operate scalable, secure, multi-region infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes, enabling rapid, reliable deployments and a strong security posture.

You’ll work with a modern stack (Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, .NET) and have high autonomy to shape the technical roadmap, collaborating across teams and delivering value as the company grows.

Qualifications

• In-depth AWS experience including VPC, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, and EKS.
• Experience configuring and running CI/CD pipelines with NET/C#.
• Experience in agile teams delivering early value.
• Experience building observability and alerting into systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve production infrastructure for reliability and security.
• Build and improve automation enabling frequent safe releases.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, data engineers, and other teams.
• Scale multi-region infrastructure to support growing user base.
