Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is recruiting a Functional Assessor to translate clinical expertise into remote, structured assessments for PIP. This non-clinical, report-focused role lets you work from home after training while staying connected to clinical teams and guidelines.

You'll review medical records, conduct telephone/video assessments, and produce clear, evidence-based reports within defined quality standards. Training is provided, with attendance at assessment centres during induction.

Qualifications

• UK-registered healthcare professional with NMC/HCPC registration.
• Minimum 1 year UK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with digital systems and report writing.
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote PIP assessments via telephone/video in a professional manner.
• Review clinical records and medical evidence.
• Produce clear, evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Attend assessment centres during induction/training when required.
