Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a UK-based Functional Assessor to transition clinical expertise into a remote role after training. The position involves performing PIP functional assessments, analyzing medical evidence, and writing detailed reports for decision-makers.

Training is provided and, once complete, the role becomes fully remote with a balanced schedule. You will attend an assessment centre during induction, with flexible remote work thereafter.

Qualifications

• UK-registered nurse or HCPC-registered professional.
• Active NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
• Experience with digital systems and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone and video PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Review clinical records and medical evidence.
• Produce clear, accurate and evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Work independently while collaborating with colleagues across clinical and administrative teams.
• Participate in ongoing learning and development activities.
• Attend the assessment centre as required.
