Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor. This hybrid role combines home working with time at assessment centres.

You will conduct PIP assessments, analyse medical information, and produce detailed written reports within a structured clinical framework. We welcome NMC/HCPC registered nurses, physiotherapists, paramedics, or occupational therapists with at least 1 year of UK clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional with UK NMC or HCPC registration.
• Minimum 1 year UK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to produce high‑quality written clinical reports.
• Competent with digital systems and typing speed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face and telephone PIP assessments in a professional, empathetic manner.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information to support assessments.
• Produce accurate, detailed, evidence‑based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues and attend assessment centres as required.
