Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is hiring a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor. This permanent, full-time role is hybrid, combining home work with assessment centre days in Barnsley. You will conduct PIP assessments, analyse medical evidence, and produce high-quality written reports.

We seek NMC/HCPC registered professionals with at least 1 year UK clinical experience and strong communication. A structured progression path and ongoing training are included.

Qualifications

• This role requires an NMC-registered nurse or HCPC-registered professional with UK clinical experience.
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication, plus confident use of digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face and telephone PIP assessments with empathy.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Engage with feedback and collaborate with colleagues.
