Job summary

Monzo is seeking a People Operations Associate for a 12‑month caregiver cover. The role focuses on HRIS design and migrations, ensuring accurate people data and smooth core processes.

You will support payroll, leave administration and respond to internal queries while collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple EU countries. This fully remote role offers flexible hours, a learning budget, and the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing People team in a rapidly growing

Qualifications

• Strong prioritisation skills in a high-volume, fast-moving environment.
• Excellent attention to detail when handling contracts and references.
• Clear communication, serving as a first point of contact for employees.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS implementations and workflow design.
• Ability to adapt processes for new systems and streamline operations.
• Automation-focused mindset to reduce repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administering employee changes in People systems and benefits management.
• Handling sign up/opt-out of benefits and issuing contract letters.
• Managing offboarding and reference processes, including regulatory references.
• Supporting payroll compilation and addressing pay queries.
• Overseeing caregiver leave and other leave processes.
• Responding to general people queries and ensuring policy knowledge is accurate.
• Supporting training programmes and learning initiatives, coordinating logistics.
• Collaborating with People Partners, Reward and Hiring squads on People-wide projects.
• Carrying out regular data audits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Designing scalable workflows and contributing to system migrations.
