Job summary

Axon Moore is seeking a Payroll Lead to own the end-to-end payroll function for a growing, acquisitive business. This is a fully remote role, but you must be based in Yorkshire.

You will manage weekly and monthly payrolls, ensure on-time processing, and oversee transitions when new payrolls are brought into the function as the company acquires more businesses.

The ideal candidate has robust experience with end-to-end payroll, HMRC compliance, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Strong end-to-end payroll experience.
• Experience with weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Good knowledge of payroll legislation and HMRC.
• Comfortable managing multiple payrolls.
• Experience of payroll integration's or acquisitions would be useful.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the payroll function for a growing, acquisitive business.
• Manage a mix of weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring processing is accurate and on time.
• Bring new payrolls into the function during acquisitions and ensure smooth transitions.
• Work independently and manage the full payroll process.
