Job summary

Origen Financial Services Limited is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support financial advisers across a range of clients. The role combines remote working with monthly attendance at the Farnborough office and requires strong analytical and documentation skills to meet service levels and personal targets.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma qualification.
• Paraplanning experience essential across a wide range of providers.
• Financial Services experience essential, preferably obtained in a life and pensions environment.
• Practical knowledge of financial planning, pensions, investments, wealth, management, life assurance, tax matters and corporate financial advice.
• Intermediate Excel and Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and quality check private fact-finds to ensure all aspects of the client financial needs are clearly documented.
• Complete relevant research, tax calculations, illustrations, utilising research tools to ensure holistic advice is provided.
• Prepare draft suitability reports within an agreed timescale, for final approval by the adviser.
• To liaise with the Business Quality Unit (BQU) to ensure file quality is within required standards.
• To set down holistic financial planning advice for each client and draft a recommendation report.
• In sending drafts Paraplanner is required to hit and exceed the set target on a monthly basis.
• Obtain illustrations, Key Features Documents, and ensure all documentation supports recommendations.
• Produce high quality draft outputs with minimal changes from advisers.
