Job summary

Advancing People Ltd is seeking an experienced Paraplanner for a full-time, permanent role. The position is remote with occasional travel and involves supporting a financial planning team with detailed financial analysis and client documentation.

Ideal candidates will have SJP Paraplanning experience, James's Place environment exposure, and a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or be actively working towards it. Knowledge of pensions, IHT and investment products is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in an SJP Paraplanning role.
• Experience in the James's Place environment.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or working towards it.
• Experience with Pension Transfers, IHT and Investment products.
• Knowledge of financial services regulation and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Fully analyse client requirements and accurately record client information.
• Research and analyse financial products in line with client objectives.
• Construct financial planning solutions across investment, retirement, tax and estate planning.
• Produce financial models, illustrations, reports and supporting documentation.
• Prepare detailed suitability reports and manage client files through the advice process.
• Prepare ongoing reviews and investment performance reviews.
• Ensure a high standard of client service and attention to detail.
