LRQA is seeking a Nuclear Equipment Surveyor to perform a mix of administrative and technical duties, reviewing procedures and inspection plans for conformance to international standards and project specifications. The role involves supervising remote on-site inspectors, compiling inspection reports, and communicating findings to clients across the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Technical skills include welding, materials, heat treatment and NDT.
• Ability to use and understand international standards such as ASME and BS EN ISO series.

Responsabilités

• Review procedures and inspection plans to establish conformity with international codes and standards and project specific requirements.
• Conduct inspections on site
• Create and issue inspection deliverables
• Supervise on-site inspectors, review and collate inspection reports and communicate findings to the end customer for their actions.
• Attendance at on-line and face to face meetings will be required along with periodic visits to manufacturing locations in the UK and Europe
• Responsible to attend meetings to explain the findings of the reviews to the manufacturer and the end client.
