Focus Group is seeking an IT Solutions Engineer (Networking) to operate from a home-based role covering the Camberley area, with regular travel to customer sites. The role includes leading network projects, delivering secure, scalable LAN/WAN and SD-WAN solutions, and providing expert guidance on complex faults.

You will work across Meraki, Aruba, Cisco, SonicWall and Ubiquiti, supporting customers from SMEs to large enterprises, and contribute to cloud migrations and security work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT support/infra or solutions delivery.
• Networking expertise: VLANs, routing & switching, firewalls, WAN/SD-WAN, wireless design and deployment with Meraki/Aruba/Cisco/SonicWall/Ubiquiti.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
• High documentation standards and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Install, configure and maintain customers' IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services and end-user devices.
• Act as escalation point for complex faults in networking.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced infrastructure issues across Windows Server, virtualization, networking and clouds.
• Design, implement and migrate enterprise network solutions (LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, VLANs, firewalls, wireless).
• Lead networking-focused IT projects and coordinate with PMs, consultants and vendors.
• Join customer calls for technical scoping, solution design and planning.
• Conduct site surveys, technical audits and readiness assessments.
• Support onboarding and transitions to service teams; ensure smooth handovers.
• Document infrastructure with accurate records; create runbooks and runbooks.
