Job summary

Escape in Edinburgh is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to deliver hands-on 2nd/3rd line support across diverse client environments. You will handle escalations, support migrations, and maintain endpoint security while communicating effectively with clients and team members.

The role is home-based with client visits, typically 1–2 days per week, with a salary of £35,000–£42,000 DOE and opportunities to pursue relevant accreditations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' hands-on MSP experience.
• Strong 2nd/3rd line support and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience handling technical escalations.
• Confident communication with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Based within reach of Edinburgh and the Lothians for client visits.
• Microsoft certifications welcome; practical experience carries weight.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on 2nd/3rd line IT support across varied client environments.
• Escalate and troubleshoot complex incidents.
• Support infrastructure migrations and security of endpoints.
