Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a seasoned ML Engineer to evaluate AI-generated machine learning solutions, improve quality, and help frontier models get better at building and reasoning about code.

This fully remote, async contract lets you work on your schedule, from anywhere in the UK. You will review Python-based ML code using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn, and articulate decisions clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience building, evaluating, and debugging ML models and pipelines.
• Ability to clearly explain model decisions and code reasoning.
• Comfort working independently in async environments and delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate AI-generated ML code for correctness, efficiency, scalability and clarity.
• Write high-quality ML solutions for modeling, data processing, and deployment tasks across varying complexity.
• Craft clear, developer-friendly explanations for model architecture decisions and code logic.
• Identify edge cases and weaknesses in problem statements and datasets.
• Help set the quality bar for how AI understands and produces ML code.
