Job summary

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, repair, and support medical devices across the region. This role requires travel within the UK and occasional overnight stays, with a remote work setup that supports field assignments.

You will train site personnel, perform demonstrations, and build lasting customer relationships while ensuring uptime and effective use of equipment. English communication and a valid driving license are essential.

Qualifications

• Technical engineering degree or equivalent education, or relevant experience in a field service or medical device role.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional and confident demeanor.
• Ability to understand and train users on technical products.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight (1-2 nights per week on average).
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in dynamic environments.
• Basic computer and networking skills.
• Valid full driving license.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical devices in the assigned region.
• Minimize downtime of systems by providing effective training to site personnel and resolving issues promptly.
• Organize, coordinate, and deliver application training to ensure proper use of installed equipment.
• Provide technical training to customer personnel and internal team members.
• Build strong relationships with customers by conducting product demonstrations and promoting solutions.
