Job summary

Robertson Stewart Ltd, a multi-disciplinary M&E contractor, is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join their growing team. You will work on containment installation schemes ranging from £10M-£20M+, with remote working model available.

You will produce accurate take-offs and detailed tenders, review projects after completion for future improvements, and vet suppliers and subcontract enquiries while coordinating with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical estimating and tender preparation.
• Ability to produce detailed take-offs and installation schedules.
• Familiarity with subcontractor enquiries and supplier vetting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed tenders and installation times for £10M-£20M+ projects.
• Produce accurate take-offs / measures and ensure cost understanding.
• Vet suppliers and manage subcontract enquiries with partners.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and internal teams to win work.
• Stay informed on market pricing, competition and volume of work.
