Job summary

Butler Ross in Oxford is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support international shipments, inventory accuracy and regulatory compliance within a growing medical manufacturing environment.

The role covers coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining SAP-based inventory data, leading cycle counts and audits, and collaborating with production, service and R&D to ensure materials are available, with 1-2 days of home working each week.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, inventory management or supply chain roles in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiar with ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Understanding of ISO 13485 and FDA regulatory requirements is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills for data reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and tracking.
• Maintain inventory records across warehouse locations using SAP or other ERP systems.
• Lead cycle counts, investigate stock discrepancies and support quarterly audits.
• Coordinate logistics requirements with production, service and R&D teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Manage stock shortages, internal transfers, consumable replenishment and kitting operations.
• Prepare and review international shipping and customs documentation, including declarations and tariff classifications.
• Liaise with freight partners and internal teams to resolve customs queries and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain compliance with relevant quality standards, including ISO 13485 and applicable FDA requirements.
