Job summary

Simon Hegele Group is seeking an Onsite Logistics operative to support a high-tech manufacturing client in Bicester. You will handle inbound/outbound flows, stock replenishment for AGV, and material handling within a sterile production environment.

The role involves manual handling and operating MHE such as electric pallet trucks and reach/counterbalance forklifts. Training is provided, and you will work Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00 with permanent, full-time status.

Qualifications

• Driving licence required.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Awareness of Health and Safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming deliveries containing high-value, high-tech medical components.
• Verify documentation and inspect equipment for damage on receipt.
• Prepare outbound shipments in compliance with quality and transport standards.
• Replenish AGV pick-up points to maintain continuous production flow.
• Operate MHE including Electric Pallet Trucks (EPT) and forklift trucks.
• Act as the key on-site contact representing the 3PL provider to the client.
• Follow strict process-driven workflows to maintain high safety and quality standards.

Job Title: Onsite Logistics for High Tech Manufacturing Client

Location: Bicester, North Oxfordshire

Salary: 14.18 per hour

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00

About The Role:

In this role you will deliver our onsite logistics service directly to a key client inside a high-tech manufacturing plant. You will operate inbound/outbound flows, materials replenishment for AVG, and material handling, ensuring seamless integration with production and meeting strict quality, safety, and delivery standards. You will be working with cutting edge, high value medical components and equipment in a customer facing environment where safety and quality are our top priority. The role is process driven and involves both manual handling and use of manual handling equipment including electric pallet truck and counterbalance forklift truck (training available). Professional conduct and an ability to communicate well with colleagues and customers is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload incoming deliveries containing high-value, high-tech medical components.
• Verify documentation and inspect medical equipment for damage upon receipt.
• Prepare outbound shipments, ensuring strict compliance with quality and transport standards.
• Replenish AGV pick-up points to facilitate continuous material flow to the production lines.
• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including Electric Pallet Trucks (EPT),
• Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Trucks.
• Perform manual handling tasks safely when moving delicate or specialised medical components.
• Conduct daily equipment checks to maintain safety and operational readiness.
• Act as a key point of contact on the factory floor, professionally representing the 3PL provider to the client.
• Communicate effectively with client production teams and our management team.
• Follow strict process-driven workflows to maintain the high standards required in a medical manufacturing environment.

About you:

Key Requirements:

• Driving licence
• A good command of the English language, both written and oral
• An awareness of Health and Safety principles

Desirable:

• Counterbalance, Reach Truck, forklift certificate would be beneficial but not essential as training can be provided
