Remote Key Account Manager - Oncology. Exciting new opportunity working in a home-based pharmaceutical sales role

This is an exciting new opportunity to work as a Remote KAM in Oncology/Haematology - Pre & Post Launch Hospital/ICS Activities. The position is working on an exciting new product launch in oncology. You will be responsible for securing formulary inclusion in targeted hospitals and cancer centres. You will engage with relevant hospital formulary teams, clarify and capture formulary processes, timelines and implementation plans whilst raising awareness and identifying key clinical formulary champions and secure access for the product .
You will join a team working with one of our well-known pharmaceutical clients. This is a 100% remote position. The role reports to the Business Manager.
As a Remote KAM you will promote and sell the clients portfolio of products within the specified therapy area to targeted Healthcare Professionals across a predefined geographical area. You will represent the Company to Healthcare Professionals via the means of online interactions using both phone and virtual calls. Promoting products assigned to the project, as defined by the Company, to Healthcare Professionals within a predefined target list, meeting all relevant standards as set by the company, ensuring a seamless interface between Healthcare Professionals and the Company.
In this role you will:
• Achieve the sales, activity targets and Key Performance Indicators as set by the company and client.
• Establish, maintain and develop relationships with medical staff in key predefined accounts to be able to deliver client information and/or book appointments and generate leads.
• Become an expert in relevant product and disease area.
• Facilitate detailed discussions with Healthcare Professionals regarding the relevant product and disease area.
• Build, establish, maintain and develop strong relationships within targeted accounts.
• Understand and remain up to date on the NHS.
• Fully understand and implement current strategies for individual client project.
• Utilise all relevant promotional literature as part of the activity process.
• Provide the Business Manager with accurate and timely data as required by the role.
• Liaise as appropriate with relevant personnel within the Company and the client company to further the business.
• Exhibit effective communication and remote calling skills and converse with callers in a professional manner.
• Update CRM system and company measurement tools, as trained and per minimum daily and weekly standards.
• Be fully conversant with current marketing strategies and initiatives of the client product.
• Demonstrate effective organisational skills to maximise efficiency and ensure accurate record keeping.
• Demonstrate a can-do flexible attitude within the team.
• Perform all administrative and non-telecommunication duties as required.
• Interact with healthcare professionals, colleagues and client in a professional and courteous manner.
• Respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner.
• Forward Medical Information enquiries and Adverse Event reports to the relevant Company personnel.
• Adhere to the ABPI code of conduct without exception and also adhere to all SOPs.

Qualifications
• ABPI qualified
Experience Required
• Experience of pharmaceutical sales.
• Proven experience of working in a hospital sales role, ideally within oncology, haematology or specialty care.
• Demonstrated success in gaining formulary inclusion and influencing payer or medicines management decisions with strong understanding of NHS structure, including access pathways and funding flows would be preferrable.
• Demonstrated success within remote or digital sales, and the motivation to continue with this way of working.
• Demonstrable knowledge of account management.
• Analytical and planning skills.
• An understanding of the structure of the NHS and understand the variety of avenues that can be utilized in order to achieve the role requirements.
• Tenacity and personal drive.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including telephone manner.
