Job summary

Norfolk County Council is expanding its Local Supported Employment Team to help people with disabilities, long-term health conditions, care leavers and ex-offenders into work. You’ll coach participants, advocate for tailored in-work support, and guide them through the five-stage journey to sustainable employment.

The role offers 37 hours per week, a permanent contract, and a salary of £29,064 to £31,022 per year. Flexible working, pension, and wellbeing benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering tailored coaching to individuals seeking employment.
• Ability to advocate and coordinate support across services.
• Support participants through the transition to sustainable work.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with participants to support their journey into employment.
• Provide tailored coaching and in-work support using a strengths-based approach.
• Deliver advocacy and programmes under the SEQF framework.
