Job summary

Pertemps Network Group is recruiting on behalf of a nationally recognised training provider for an experienced Apprenticeship Skills Coach to support IT apprentices remotely with occasional travel to London. The role offers a permanent contract and a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000, plus 24 days annual leave and strong progression opportunities.

You'll manage a caseload, conduct progress reviews, and assist learners through portfolio development and EPA readiness.

Qualifications

Experience assessing IT apprenticeships, ideally IT Support Technician, with Networking knowledge.
Confident managing a remote caseload and building relationships with learners and employers.
Strong organisational and communication skills; ability to motivate learners.

Responsibilities

Manage and support a caseload of IT apprentices studying the IT Support Technician Level 3 standard.
Conduct regular progress reviews, coaching, and 1:1 mentoring sessions.
Assess learner knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs) per the apprenticeship standard.
Support portfolio development, assignments, and EPA readiness.
Maintain accurate learner records using an e-portfolio system.
Liaise with employers to monitor progress and ensure standards met.
Contribute to continuous improvement of teaching and assessment practices.
