Job summary

Agilent Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Instrument Sales Manager to lead a team supporting Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry across Academia and Life Science Research markets in the UK & Ireland.

The role combines leadership of a high-performing sales team with strategic ownership of key market segments. You will drive commercial strategy, develop annual business plans, and collaborate cross-functionally to expand Agilent's market presence, while ensuring customer-centric

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific, technical, or business-related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of sales experience within analytical or scientific instrumentation industries.
Demonstrated leadership through people management or project leadership.
Strong commercial acumen with experience developing sales strategies and driving results through others.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management; fluent English.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach a sales team to achieve revenue objectives and foster a high-performance culture.
Own territory management, pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and performance reviews.
Develop and execute annual business plans to deliver revenue, growth, and profitability targets.
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Applications, and Service to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Drive market leadership for Academic and Life Science Research segments in the UK & Ireland.
