Job summary

AFH Financial Group is seeking an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to service Taunton and the Somerset area. You will work as an employed adviser within a client-focused, wealth management firm, developing financial plans and helping clients achieve financial independence.

The role offers home-based/remote working with optional office access. Face-to-face client meetings are expected, supported by in-house back-office and paraplanning, with ongoing training and a strong emphasis on a

Qualifications

Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or FCA approved equivalent) and CF30 status maintained.
Strong client-centric approach and professional presentation.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to use IT for virtual/digital communication.

Responsibilities

Follow Six-Stage Advice Process to build long-term client relationships.
Review clients' changing needs and keep introducers/clients up to date on products/legislation.
Acquire and develop new business via personal planning, referrals and lead programmes.
Utilise marketing opportunities including social media and networking to grow business.
Maintain client & introducer relationships through meetings, seminars and feedback.
Meet clients in person, at their homes/business premises or virtually via Teams.
Prepare financial planning reports covering all advised areas.
