Job summary

AFH Wealth Management is seeking an Independent Financial Adviser to service Exeter and Devon. This employed adviser role involves understanding client goals and formulating clear financial strategies toward independence.

The position supports home-based/remote work with optional office access and requires attending face-to-face client meetings. Key responsibilities include relationship-building, reviewing client needs, acquiring new business, and delivering comprehensive financial planning

Qualifications

• Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and CF30 status maintained.
• Clear client-centric approach with professional presentation.
• Strong communication skills and comfort with virtual consultations.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Six-Stage Advice Process to build long-term client relationships.
• Review clients’ changing needs and advise on pensions, savings, investments and plans.
• Acquire and develop new business via referrals, introducers and lead generation.
• Utilise marketing opportunities and network with introducers to develop new business.
• Maintain client and introducer relationships through meetings and feedback.
• Set up meetings with clients in-office, home, business premises or virtually.
• Conduct in-depth reviews and prepare financial planning reports for clients.
