Job summary

AFH Wealth Management is seeking an Independent Financial Adviser servicing the Manchester area. You may join as self-employed or employed, with home-based/remote work optional and occasional office access for meetings.

You will guide clients through financial goals, delivering tailored planning across pensions, investments and savings, while maintaining CF30 status and adhering to FCA regulations. The role emphasizes client-centric service, networking and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or FCA approved equivalent) and CF30 status
• Client-centric approach with strong presentation and professionalism
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate via virtual/digital channels
• Experience in networking and attracting new clients through business planning and referrals

Responsibilities

• Follow the Six-Stage Advice Process to build long-term relationships
• Review clients' changing needs and keep Introducers and clients updated
• Acquire and develop new business via personal planning, referrals and lead programmes
• Optimise marketing opportunities including social media and networking
• Maintain client and introducer relationships through meetings and feedback
• Arrange meetings in offices, homes, premises or virtually via Teams
• Conduct in-depth reviews and prepare tailored financial planning reports
• Deliver accurate management information as requested
