Job summary

First Group is seeking an experienced People Project Partner to join the Colleague Experience team on a six-month fixed-term basis. You will deliver key programmes across Job Architecture, ERA25 readiness, and Industrial Relations, shaping the employee experience and partnering with senior leaders.

You will drive governance, stakeholder engagement and data-informed decision making while supporting leaders on employee relations and legislative requirements in a flexible, remote-with-travel role

Qualifications

• Proven experience as HR Business Partner or senior HRBP in a large organisation.
• Experience delivering complex people projects or business transformation initiatives.
• Excellent planning, governance and organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel capability and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience in unionised environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of three key people projects with milestones, risks and dependencies managed.
• Provide practical support on employee and industrial relations and legislative requirements.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to maintain momentum and collaboration.
• Use data and reporting to monitor progress and inform decisions.
