Job summary

LJ Recruitment is seeking a Housing Litigation Solicitor (NQ - 5 PQE) for remote working within 1.5 hours of Kent. The role centers on disrepair matters, possession proceedings, and related housing litigation, advising landlords, housing associations, and local authorities while handling a varied caseload.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in disrepair, strong court advocacy skills, and the ability to manage cases independently in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, NQ to 5 years PQE in housing litigation.
• Demonstrable experience handling disrepair matters.
• Confident in court advocacy with a strong track record in possession claims and other housing litigation.
• Ability to manage cases independently and work remotely.
• Based within 1.5 hours of Kent to attend occasional client or court meetings if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload primarily focused on housing litigation with emphasis on disrepair claims alongside possession proceedings, anti-social behaviour, and homelessness appeals.
• Provide expert advice to landlords, housing associations, and local authorities, advocating for clients and ensuring high-quality case outcomes.
