A leading law firm is seeking a Housing Litigation Solicitor (NQ–5 PQE) to join its remote-friendly Housing Litigation team. You will handle a varied caseload with a focus on disrepair, possession, ASB, and homelessness appeals for landlords, housing associations and local authorities.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with NQ to 5 years PQE in housing litigation.
• Demonstrable experience handling disrepair matters.
• Strong court advocacy skills with experience in possession claims.
• Ability to manage cases remotely and independently.
• Excellent communication and client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload focused on housing litigation, incl. disrepair, possession, ASB, and homelessness appeals.
• Advise landlords, housing associations and local authorities to achieve high-quality outcomes.
• Lead on disrepair claims and related housing litigation matters.
• Work remotely with minimal supervision and multi-task across cases.
• Attend occasional client or court meetings within 1.5 hours of Kent when required.

About the Role

You will manage a varied caseload primarily focused on housing litigation, with a strong emphasis on disrepair claims alongside possession proceedings, anti-social behaviour, and homelessness appeals. You will provide expert advice to landlords, housing associations, and local authorities, advocating for clients and ensuring high-quality case outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor, NQ to 5 years PQE in housing litigation
• Must have demonstrable experience handling disrepair matters
• Confident in court advocacy with a strong track record in possession claims and other housing litigation
• Ability to manage cases independently and work remotely
• Excellent communication skills and client-focused approach
• Comfortable with technology and remote case management
• Based within 1.5 hours of Kent to attend occasional client or court meetings if required
