Job summary

CNWL NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a High Intensity CBT Therapist/Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our East of England gambling service. The post offers largely remote working with some face-to-face sessions and occasional evenings.

You will deliver evidence-based psychological therapy for gambling harms in line with NICE guidelines within a multidisciplinary team. Applicants must be BABCP accredited and bring substantial CBT experience, including high-intensity

Qualifications

• Must be BABCP accredited (full or provisionally).
• Extensive experience delivering high-intensity CBT for gambling-related harms.
• Experience in NHS or similar settings encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological assessments and formulate treatment plans.
• Deliver high-intensity CBT/MI for gambling harms within NICE guidelines.
• Provide supervision to junior staff and liaise with the MDT.
• Contribute to clinical audits and service development.
• Engage in remote and face-to-face sessions as service needs require.
