Job summary

Gordon Moody Association is seeking a compassionate CBT Therapist or Psychologist to join its team in Redditch, delivering structured CBT interventions across individual and group settings within residential and remote treatment programmes. The role involves assessment, risk management and collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team, under its clinical governance framework.

The successful candidate will hold BABCP accreditation or be working towards it, with a postgraduate CBT

Qualifications

• Essential: BABCP-accredited CBT Therapist or working towards accreditation.
• Postgraduate qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or equivalent.
• Relevant professional registration or core profession qualification (e.g. mental health nursing, psychology, social work, counselling or psychotherapy).
• Experience delivering CBT in mental health or addiction settings.
• Experience facilitating therapeutic groups and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment for individuals with gambling-related harms.
• Deliver evidence-based CBT interventions in individual and group settings.
• Develop collaborative treatment and risk management plans.
• Facilitate psychoeducational, relapse prevention and therapeutic groups.
• Support individuals with co-occurring mental health difficulties.
• Maintain confidential clinical records per GDPR and professional standards.
• Monitor clinical risk and safeguarding concerns.
• Work within CBT and psychological therapies guidelines.
