Rullion Ltd is seeking a Grid Engineer to support renewable energy projects across the UK. This contract role handles grid connection from concept through delivery, ensuring compliance with transmission and distribution requirements and coordinating with DNOs and contractors.

You will review offers, manage risks and costs, contribute to engineering standards, and work with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project delivery and growth.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience managing grid connection processes from concept to delivery.
• Specialist electrical engineering experience in renewables.
• Strong knowledge of transmission and distribution grid requirements.
• Experience managing contractors, reviews of offers, and resolving issues.

Aufgaben

• Manage grid connection processes for multiple projects from concept through delivery.
• Oversee liabilities, securities, contractors and consultants.
• Prepare and review technical specs, scopes of work, and contract docs.
• Resolve technical, legal and commercial queries related to grid offers.
• Manage variations in scope, cost and schedule.
• Identify and mitigate grid and electrical risks throughout asset life cycle.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and internal standards.
• Provide technical support during high-risk situations and root-cause analysis.
• Support due diligence, cost optimisation and engineering procedure improvements.
• Represent the business in meetings with external stakeholders and industry bodies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and senior stakeholders to support delivery and growth.
