Zusammenfassung

Rullion is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to manage transmission equipment packages for major renewable and grid projects in Manchester. The role involves coordinating design, manufacture, testing, installation, and commissioning across multi-disciplinary teams.

You will report to the Project Manager or Director, guiding delivery from tender through to completion, while ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence. Travel within the UK and internationally may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering high-voltage primary and secondary transmission equipment packages.
• Approximately 5+ years' experience within electrical transmission, power systems, or utility infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of HV transmission equipment and auxiliary systems.

Aufgaben

• Accountable for the successful delivery of transmission equipment project scope, ensuring budget, schedule, quality, safety, and performance targets.
• Coordinate engineering, design, manufacturing, testing, and installation activities to deliver robust electrical solutions.
• Manage project-related primary and secondary electrical systems from tender stage through to project completion.
• Provide technical leadership and coordination across engineering disciplines, project management teams, and stakeholders.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, resource allocation, cost management, quality control, and risk management.
• Manage subcontract packages, including supplier coordination and performance monitoring.
• Produce regular project reports and ensure effective information management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and participate in design, process, and project review meetings.
• Support commissioning and handover activities as required.
