Rullion seeks a Grid Engineer to provide specialist electrical expertise across renewable energy projects, delivering grid connection management from concept to delivery. You will work with internal teams, DNOs and industry bodies to ensure compliant, cost-effective delivery of wind, solar and storage assets.

You will review offers, manage risks, costs and scope changes, and support due diligence and improvement of procedures while travelling across the UK and overseas as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience managing grid connection processes from concept through to delivery.
• Specialist electrical engineering experience within the renewable energy sector.

Responsabilités

• Manage grid connection processes for multiple renewable energy projects from concept through to delivery.
• Oversee grid connection liabilities, securities, contractors and consultants.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, scopes of work, design requirements and contract documentation.
• Resolve technical, legal and commercial queries relating to grid connection offers and project delivery.
• Manage project variations involving changes to scope, cost and schedule.
• Identify, assess and mitigate grid and electrical risks throughout the asset lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and internal engineering standards.
• Provide technical support during high-risk situations, including corrective actions and root cause analysis.
• Support technical and commercial due diligence, cost optimisation and continuous improvement of engineering procedures.
• Represent the business in meetings with external stakeholders, including network operators and industry bodies.
• Travel across the UK and overseas as required.
