Job summary

Horizon Care & Education is seeking a proactive Funding and Bids Co Ordinator to support funding initiatives, bids, and contract management. The role involves coordinating with local authorities, managing tender documentation, and ensuring data integrity across systems while supporting multiple divisions.

You will work remotely with occasional travel to the head office in Leeds, reporting to the Bids and Contracts Manager.

Qualifications

• Proactive approach to identifying issues and driving solutions.
• Strong project coordination and administrative skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships, especially within public sector or education settings.
• High proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce desirable).
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working in education, social care, or nonprofit environments.
• Familiarity with funding or contract management processes.
• Experience supporting or coordinating bid submissions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the uplift process for Education, Supported Accommodation and Residential divisions in line with internal procedures.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings with local authorities to support negotiations.
• Prepare and submit offer proposals to the internal decision-making panel.
• Escalate issues to Head of Pricing as needed.
• Support Bids and Contracts Manager in bid preparation, tender documentation, and tracking.
• Lead the Contract Audit project by auditing and maintaining contract records in Salesforce.
• Provide ad-hoc administrative support to other managers.
