Job summary

LCM Environmental Ireland is seeking a fuel systems engineer to join a field-based role across Ireland with site visits and on-road duties. The role involves installation, testing, and maintenance of fuel system components, plus regulatory compliance work.

The position requires readiness to travel across North and South Ireland, with training offered and company vehicles provided. A proactive safety mindset and ability to work in a high-performing team are essential.

Qualifications

• UKPIA SPA* certification preferred
• SMSTS*OFTEC* certification preferred
• CSCS* certification preferred
• IOSH* certification preferred
• Training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Attend customers' sites to complete planned and reactive works on fuel systems.
• Perform pipework installation, tank installation/decommissioning, and maintain gauges, alarms, valves, pumps.
• Conduct fuel quality work: sampling, uplifting, transferring and filtering.
• Test tanks and pipework; complete site inspections and surveys including Oil Storage Regulations.
• Attend OFTEC questionnaires and DSEAR reporting; training available.
• Attend to fuel spills, containment and cleaning as required.
• Work safely, follow risk assessments and method statements; perform Dynamic Risk Assessments.
• Maintain housekeeping; assist training needs; operate company vehicles; complete paperwork in CRM.
