Job summary

Lucid Support Services Ltd in Peterborough (Onsite) is seeking a Fuel Systems Development Engineer to own fuel system development for a major diesel engine programme, delivering robust, high-performance solutions within an experienced engineering team.

You will develop, validate and optimise high-pressure fuel systems, analyse data, support testing, and collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to meet quality, timing and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with fuel system testing and validation activities.
• Experience supporting new product introduction programmes.
• 10+ years relevant industry experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead fuel system development activities for new product programmes.
• Develop, validate and optimise high-pressure fuel systems.
• Analyse engineering data to identify performance improvements and resolve technical issues.
• Support engine and fuel system testing activities.
• Work closely with suppliers and engineering stakeholders to deliver programme objectives.
• Prepare technical reports and development documentation.
• Support validation activities and performance optimisation programmes.
• Ensure project delivery against quality, timing and cost targets.
