Job summary

Griffin is hiring a hands-on Compliance Adviser in the first line to embed regulatory expertise across operations, product, and sales. You will help design compliant products, assess risks, and support marketing and commercial activities as we scale in the UK fintech space.

This role emphasizes practical application of FCA rules and clear written documentation. You will work in a remote-first environment with autonomy and opportunities to shape essential controls, reporting, and governance as

Qualifications

• Experience in the first or second line of a UK regulated firm (bank, e-money, payments).
• Practical knowledge of Consumer Duty, BCOBS, CASS, FISMA and Money Laundering Regulations.
• Hands-on approach turning regulation into practical requirements for product/sales/ops teams.

Responsibilities

• Turn regulation into clear requirements, customer journeys, T&Cs and fair value assessments from idea to launch.
• Keep live products compliant through regular assessments and monitoring.
• Assist commercial teams in partner risk checks and review sales materials.
• Ensure marketing materials and promotions comply with regulation and internal policies.
• Embed regulatory requirements into day-to-day Service operations.
