Job summary

Quilter plc is seeking a Firm Compliance Partner for Quilter Financial Planning. The role provides regulatory oversight for a portfolio of appointed representative firms, primarily remote supervision, with occasional travel.

You will own firm governance, attestations, and risk assessments, offering practical guidance while challenging standards when needed. You will review governance, systems, and controls, plan action plans, and monitor progress to completion, supporting onboarding decisions

Qualifications

• Experience in a compliance role within financial services.
• Ability to provide feedback to advisers and firm principals.
• Desirable knowledge of Network/National and IFA/restricted advice models.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory oversight for a varied portfolio of appointed representative firms.
• Plan and complete firm attestation reviews and governance assessments.
• Identify weaknesses and agree proportionate action plans with timescales.
• Escalate material concerns through the appropriate channels when required.
• Support pre-vetting of firms looking to join Quilter and contribute to onboarding decisions.
• Work primarily via Teams with occasional travel as needed.
