Tradex Insurance Company PLC is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to support regulatory governance and reporting. The role is largely remote with occasional travel, aligning the compliance function with key regulatory obligations.

You will support regulatory engagement with the FCA and PRA, maintain SMCR governance, prepare returns, and help manage policies and training. Strong communication with senior leaders and robust analytical skills are essential.

Competenze

• Experience in a compliance function within a regulated environment.
• Experience of regulatory controls, governance processes, compliance record-keeping, regulatory reporting and returns.
• Knowledge of regulatory horizon scanning, impact assessments, and policy/procedure management.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior leaders.
• Managing SMCR records (nice to have)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Problem solving ability
• Proficient in Microsoft WORD, Excel and PowerPoint

Mansioni

• Provide support to regulatory engagement activities with the FCA and PRA, maintain regulatory engagement logs and action trackers, and support the Group's regulatory engagement framework.
• Support the operation of the Group's SMCR framework through the maintenance of SMCR records and governance documentation, supporting Senior Managers in evidencing compliance with their responsibilities.
• Prepare regulatory returns in accordance with regulatory deadlines and maintain documented procedures supporting the regulatory returns process.
• Maintain and review compliance-related policies and procedures, including training and governance policies.
• Support the completion of regulatory notifications and permissions-related activities where required.
• Monitor emerging regulatory developments through horizon scanning, and support the delivery of regulatory change initiatives.
• Assist with preparation of Compliance reporting for Boards, Committees and senior management.
• Manage the Compliance inbox and ensure queries are responded to or escalated appropriately.
