Job summary

Complete Security Recruitment seeks a Systems Engineer for its Fire & Security Systems team. Work will be based remotely, supporting South London and Surrey with a 40-hour week.

You will attend maintenance calls, perform first-visit fault rectifications, and manage ongoing preventative maintenance and project commissioning. The role requires experience with access control, CCTV and intruder alarm systems, preferably Gent fire systems, plus IT/electrical qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and servicing access control, CCTV and intruder alarm systems.
• Experience installing and servicing fire alarm systems, ideally Gent based.
• IT and/or Electrical/Electronic qualification.
• Broad IT knowledge including Windows OS and networking.
• Knowledge of basic electrical principles (voltage/current).
• Strong attention to paperwork and procedures.
• Team player, able to work under pressure, flexible hours and on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Attend maintenance calls on-site or by phone as directed.
• Rectify faults on first visit where possible.
• Carry out preventative maintenance visits.
• Record site configurations accurately.
• Maintain timely records.
• Provide out-of-hours cover on a rotating basis.
• Commission small projects when required.
• Audit quality procedures; provide training to customers and colleagues.
• Carry out additional tasks as required.
