Job summary

Fidelity Integrated Systems Ltd in Greater London is seeking a Security and Fire Systems Service Engineer to join our field team on a full-time basis. You will perform maintenance and fault diagnosis across access control, CCTV, fire alarms, and life-safety systems, with a focus on first-time fixes when possible and clear, on-site client communication.

The role covers on-call duties roughly one week in six, with a company vehicle and fuel card, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical principles and fault-finding.
• Experience with security and life-safety systems.
• Ability to work within regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective maintenance with fault finding and first-time fixes when possible
• Carry out remedial and small works
• Conduct preventative maintenance
• Liaise with on-site clients
• Work with monitored systems and Alarm Receiving Centre
• Represent Fidelity in the field
• Complete site and paperwork promptly
• Stay updated on industry regulations and safety training
• Mentor junior engineers and apprentices
• Participate in on-call rota
