Options Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to join its field-based team covering London and the South East. The role offers a salary of £45,000 plus a benefits package and comprehensive on-the-job training.

You will work on Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm, CCTV and Access Control systems, with duties including reactive maintenance, on-call shifts and regular travel to sites. A full UK driving licence is required, and DBS screening will be funded by the company.

Qualifications

• Experience with Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm, CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Confident using a multimeter and performing fault finding.
• Full, clean UK driving licence; DBS will be funded by the company.

Responsibilities

• Completing reactive maintenance, servicing and small works.
• Working towards daily productivity targets.
• Communicating with Service Co-ordinators regarding site issues and work schedules.
• Identifying additional works and passing opportunities to the sales team.
• Taking part in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
• Maintaining a professional approach when representing the business on customer sites.
• Working overtime when required.

The Role

An established and growing independent security and life safety business is looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join its field-based team, covering West London and the surrounding areas.

This opportunity would suit an engineer who is confident working autonomously, managing a busy workload and providing a high standard of service to commercial customers.

Duties

• Completing reactive maintenance, servicing and small works.
• Working towards daily productivity targets.
• Communicating with Service Co-ordinators regarding site issues and work schedules.
• Identifying additional works and passing opportunities to the sales team.
• Taking part in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
• Maintaining a professional approach when representing the business on customer sites.
• Working overtime when required.

Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided. Occasional travel to the Mansfield office and overnight stays may be necessary, with all business expenses covered.

Working Hours

Full-time 40 hours per week, permanent position, with flexibility required for overtime and participation in the on-call rota.
