Job summary

EMCOR UK is seeking a field-based engineer to support on-site engineers and clients across outer London, Kent and Sussex. You will perform maintenance, repairs and small works on CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, intercoms and fire systems while coordinating with clients and the EMCOR UK Service Centre.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in servicing and installing these systems, a multi-disciplinary background, and a good knowledge of British Standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience servicing, maintaining and installing CCTV, access control, intruder alarm systems, intercom systems and fire systems.
• Experience with multi-disciplined engineering or willingness to cross-train across disciplines.
• Knowledge of relevant British Standards and NSI/LPCB standards is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, upgrades and system repairs on CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, intercom and fire systems.
• Coordinate with Clients and EMCOR UK Service Centre to deliver service level agreements.
• Prepare quotes and undertake commissioning under Specialist Services requests or site requirements.
• Produce risk assessments, method statements, and ensure PPE and health & safety policies are followed.
