Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Field Service Engineer for the UK&I team to perform installation, maintenance and fault analysis of medical devices. The role is fully remote with substantial travel across customers, requiring a mechanical/electrical background and CRM proficiency.

You will report to the Field Service Team Leader and be responsible for timely service documentation, expense reporting and spares management while delivering high-quality after-sales support.

Qualifications

• Educated in mechanical, electronic, electrical or biomedical field.
• Experience with mechanical assemblies and willingness to learn medical devices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools (SFDC/Field Service).
• Travel up to 80% and must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site installation and maintenance of Histopathology and related equipment.
• Deliver accurate reporting, manage expenses, spares stock, and service documentation.
• Collaborate with Field Support Team to provide industry-leading after-sales service within KPI targets.
