Job summary

Grafana Labs is hiring for a remote, globally distributed Observability team lead to oversee backend and frontend engineers. You will guide the fleet management tooling and Kubernetes deployment charts within Grafana Cloud, ensuring a seamless user experience for our customers.

You will collaborate across product, engineering, and GTM functions, driving high-quality results while fostering a culture of innovation and psychological safety in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems and observability tooling preferred.
• Proven ability to lead remote engineering teams across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop remote backend and frontend engineers, providing regular feedback and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with GTM to ensure customer success with Observability collection journeys.
• Align Fleet Management, Kubernetes Helm Chart, and Instrumentation Hub with end-to-end Grafana Cloud UX.
• Guide projects from ideation through planning, execution and post-launch with a focus on quality.
