Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Product Manager for OpenTelemetry Experience to own the end-to-end journey of instrumenting workloads for Grafana Cloud. You will guide onboarding, configuration, and troubleshooting workflows while coordinating across multiple product teams.

You will work remotely with globally distributed teams, applying customer research and data to drive activation and adoption of observability solutions. Strong AI and tooling knowledge will be leveraged to accelerate outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience in developer tools or observability.
• Ability to lead strategy across multiple engineering teams without direct authority.
• Strong knowledge of OpenTelemetry concepts and telemetry workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the cross-product roadmap for OpenTelemetry experiences.
• Create coherent experiences across SDK instrumentation, automatic instrumentation, and collectors.
• Identify and solve onboarding, configuration, and troubleshooting pain points.
• Set principles, priorities, and success metrics for the OpenTelemetry journey.
• Prioritize investments using customer research and product data.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Design, Documentation, Marketing, and GTM.
