Job summary

Scrumconnect Consulting in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

You will work with React front-end apps, microservices, and serverless components, ensuring security, performance, and FinOps governance across environments.

Remote-friendly role with occasional travel, permanent or contract engagement, and SC Clearance eligibility considerations may apply.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and operating AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience managing multiple AWS environments (dev, test, prod).
• Proficient with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Experience with React, microservices, and serverless architectures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage multiple AWS environments across development to production.
• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Git-based tooling.
• Manage AWS infrastructure including React front-end apps, microservices, Lambda functions, and Kafka integrations.
• Support ETL processes and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) integrations.
• Implement and manage secure networking patterns (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
• Deploy and manage Kong Enterprise API Gateway.
• Administer MFA and IAM roles/permissions for development teams.
• Ensure resources are tagged and governed under FinOps standards.
• Monitor performance, availability, and reliability across environments.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve automation and deployment efficiency.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across cloud environments.
• Contribute to cloud security best practices and continuous improvement.
• Support accessible digital services aligned with WCAG 2.2 AAA.
